Day 36: Working for the Money

Today was my first day as a consultant and am really looking forward to working on this project. It's definitely not something that could have come across my plate back in New York and lets me combine direct service with high level strategy work.

I'm super excited to start to get to know the kids down here. The ones I worked with in NYC kept me going through those long SYEP days and long graduate school nights.

This kid both stole and broke my heart with his anxious face and flawless mirroring of the bands around him.
